This episode was rather average, but had its good points. We got to see Lancer's house (looks like after 7 episodes he's back with the girls again) and the song was strangely catchy. The unfortunate thing is that parts of it felt like they were cut out of 'Stand by Me' and Teddy was acting like even more of a jerk in this than most episodes (although it isn't as bad as his attitude in Blue Ribbon Blues and anyway, he was mad about the girls not letting him go to Sweetheart's party, wasn't it?). So, let there be discussion! (By the way, Sweetheart turning 10 is a reference to the MLP brand celebrating its 10th birthday around this time).

This episode kind of fixed Sister of the Bride, by which I mean it finally gave Clover some well-deserved screentime, and gave Meadowlark some proper character development (Clover also received a great deal of development in this episode). Madame Percheron from Shop Talk is also back in her present-day form with a minor speaking role. Also, Ms. Hackney's odd questions return (The answer to her math question, by the way, is 50). Thoughts, anyone?

One of the 'stranger' episodes of the series. I have a feeling this was meant to be a Clover episode but kinda slipped off being one. One of the odd things about this episode was that Clover's father was completely absent from this episode. Where was he at his daughter's wedding? Oh well... (By the way, it would have been cute if they made Meadowlark and Cheval toys, I don't know why they didn't do it).

Ah yes, the famous Brightglow episode. Anyone got any thoughts?

This is the episode that revealed that Patch was an orphan long ago (story potential there) and showed horses pulling a pony chariot (chimpanzees to humans?). This is an interesting episode in its moral values as it shows that Patch DOES NOT want to be a princess, which is unusual for a girl's cartoon. Opinions, anyone?

Another great episode. This was the one and only time we really got to see Bright Eyes and Lancer's relationship in the show (Wait, how come Lancer is back with Ace and Teddy despite leaving them two episodes ago? Oh well). Also, notice how Clover and Sweetheart (often treated in a backhanded manner) are absent from the Play Cool song. Any other thoughts?

One of the best in the series, because each character (except possibly Clover or Sweetheart) got a good role in it. We also get to see Ace established as the 'Prince Charming' and we see Lancer's reformation. Let the discussion begin!

One of the more 'cringeworthy' episodes of the series, although no Tales episode is TRULY bad. The most confusing thing about this episode, though, was that do the other 2 boys and Sweetheart's friends know that Teddy really DOES have a teddy bear inside, but do they just pretend not to as so to not hurt his feelings? Answers?

This is one of those 'let's make an episode that puts this character in the spotlight with his/her family and does almost nothing else'. I think they created this episode for the main purpose to develop upon Bon Bon and her family and not do much else. Any other thoughts?

This was one of the best episodes of the series, especially because of Squire. Let the discussion begin! By the way, does anyone think that the original script called for Squire's death, because he's a kid as a ghost, and he looks pretty much EXACTLY the same age as he was in Patch's story.

This is one of my favorite episodes, partly because of its musical score (the rock music at the beginning, the track in the Ice Cream Shop, and the nice music in the scene where Sweetheart and Clover are on the seesaw).

Does anyone know where these can be found? I can't seem to find any site that I'm sure will allow me to use their Tales pictures.

Another great episode. Having Melody and Bright Eyes as sisters would be very interesting. Could you write an episode with Starlight, Patch, Clover, or Bon Bon as the main characters? Also interesting that Flare is absent this time around.

Well, greetings, it's me, Acehoneycomb, known as Crazy Ace for a couple of months but now I am back! My account is reactivated and now I can post as a member again. I hope I can help get even more people back here (though getting Drusilla, BG, Balto or even Lancer back would be a long shot) and continue to try and revive the Tales fandom!

I personally think that this Patch/Brightglow situation is like Princess Celestia/Twilight Sparkle, where Brightglow watches over Patch as she grows up, then, when she is ready, she is transformed into a Glow N' Show pony too. Maybe Brightglow knew it was Patch's destiny . It's like having a student.
