Kat, you gave Ace a twin brother once? Oh my... Looks like there's a lot of interesting ideas about Ace's background around here so far.

So, so far, people (including me) have voted for Sweetheart, Bright Eyes, Ace, Lancer, and 'Other'. I wonder who else will drop in and cast their vote.

Kat, the coverless issue you have is 47. The cover features Patch by the ocean, and so that hinted me to what issue it was. My copy of 46 says 'IN THE NEXT ISSUE, AS WELL AS THE USUAL MIXTURE OF FUN, EXCITEMENT, AND ADVENTURE, YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE A FREE FOIL STICKER OF BON BON! DON'T MISS IT!', so that means your comic must have originally come with a free foil sticker of Bon Bon (I saw the sticker on ebay a few days ago).

When will Lancer's baby sibling be born? I guess you're saving it for the final episode.

Oddly enough, I chose Bright Eyes.

Yes, yes I do. I have issues 205 through 207, 209, 211 through 212, 215, and 221 of the original comic and 38 through 46 of MLP and Friends, all Tales issues. I have a lot of the issues Kat is talking about, so I often smile when I see a description from a familiar story.

Found a gif (like yours, Notes) with Clover from the Choice song. I'll see if it's okay to use...

Notes, did you read Lancer's photo of that Quiet Please comic (if you could read it as the pictures are blurry)? I have that comic and it's basically about Patch and Bon Bon going to the library, where Patch causes mischief. Bright Eyes also shows up on the second and final page. One comic (211) has a story in it (A Brilliant Ballerina) that tells you pretty much everything about Clover you need to know, save for her mother. Meadowlark, as far as I know, never shows up in the comics and is referred to as 'Clover's big sister' or 'My big sister'. In the few small pictures we see of her, she looks like a larger version of Clover (EXACTLY the same colours).

Patch is a joker and a clown in the comics more than in the cartoon, but she only wants to be a circus clown in one story (Patch the Clown, issue 44).

Bright Eyes is far more developed in the comics than the cartoon (she even got a page of her own 'Bright Eyes' Fascinating Facts' from issues 43-45 of MLP and Friends), but, from what I can remember, we still never get to see her parents. There is a story in 43 where Starlight and Bright Eyes do a seemingly scary experiment, with some of the best facial expressions ever seen.

Teddy comic madness? I've heard of a story called 'French Lessons' in MLP and Friends 49 (I'm anonymoushoneycomb on the Arena, remember, you described that one to me, Teddy) where a French foreign exchange student comes to class, but I don't remember her being described to befriend Teddy! What colour is she in the comic, anyway?

Sweetheart only said her famous 'really truly' line in the comic once as far as I know, in the story Kat is describing in #38, where she says "Doesn't your mom really truly like egg, then?". The story is called 'You Can't Make an Omelette'. And Kat, you might want to notify the comic where Bon Bon spills blueberry juice/jam on the soccer uniforms and Ace has a playing card symbol. It's hilarious!

So, which Tales character is your favorite? Patch? Bon Bon? Melody? Or some other pony? Let the voting begin! You can only select up to 1 option.

I noticed that of the three boys, Ace is the least developed or even speculated about. We saw Teddy's background quite a lot and we at least got to see Lancer's mansion. Ace, on the other hand, has virtually no background material to work with other than being "Prince Charming' and athletic. So, any speculations about Ace's life?
