I am creating some more threads about somewhat forgotten and/or neglected Tales characters (such as Starlight and Melody) at the moment to attract some more users back to the forum.
Best Starlight moment: Hmm... Probably in Just for Kicks where she displayed her newfound soccer talent.

Not a bad idea, squishyace. I'd say Starlight's best moment was leading the others to plan those Home Alone style traps in the teaparty episode.

Might also be when she played as Ms. Hackney's sub in An Apple for Starlight.

Those are also great Starlight moments  . I really feel she got neglected/shoved onto the back burner compared to many of the other characters, so there just ain't much material involving her to work with. |

Yeah, most of the girls got their own episode or were more up front if they shared an episode.

Sadly, being saddled with the 'leader' role, Starlight didn't too much in the way of focus in comparison to the other six (I blame the short run time of the episodes myself), but what focus she did get was pretty solid. Actually quite like that she didn't get over her crush on Ace (given the ten minute run time that would have been pretty d**n unrealistic all things considered), gives her something more than just solid leadership abilities to her character. Although leading everyone out of the cave through team work IS pretty impressive.

I'd like to think we'd have a chance to have even stronger characterization myself, that and maybe delve into the whole "Early 90s/Late 80s Pony World" And just how the BUCK that came to be.

We might be able to find out why the stories are so short if we ask those that worked on the show but that's a long shot.

Some shows work better as two 11-minute episodes as opposed to a single 22-minute episode. Considering Tales was made 23 years ago, I don't know if the staff is all that reachable. I wonder though if Cathy Weseluck and Chiara Zanni would be available considering they worked on Tales before FiM.
On topic: I'd have to say Starlight's best moment was leading her classmates out of the cave in "An Apple for Starlight". Miss Hackney really had a lot of trust in her to be sure her friends learned from her.

That was the episode where we also learned that Ms. Hackney seemed to record all her lessons in case of emergency.
