Well, here is some Lancer information from the comics:
209: Has a crush on Bright Eyes, but it too shy to ask her out. Bright Eyes is somewhat coy towards him (although she also has a crush on him).
210: Breakdances with Ace at a hospital concert.
218: Can't help but laugh (along with Ace) when Bright Eyes falls off a pedalo.
220: Finally gets to take Bright Eyes out on a date to see Dazzle's show Prance Time (it doesn't go quite as expected, though). Is fond of nature programs, and uses his knowledge of nature to save Dazzle's show Prance Time (when there is a blackout, he uses the glow worms from the nature program to light up the set).
41: Dresses up as a buccaneer (?) for a costume party. Goes camping with the girls and Teddy. Shares Bright Eyes' concern for the wellbeing of the environment.
44: Has a nanny. It is implied that he lives in a mansion. Is fond of birdwatching. (He takes Bright Eyes on a birdwatching trip, but they see a kingfisher and he becomes distracted. After Bright Eyes leaves to report the kingfisher to the newspaper, Lancer realizes that he forgot to confess his feelings to her).
45: Has an expensive new camera (another implication of his status) and uses the recordings he made on the camera to find Patch's lost bangle.
