Yessss! Screwed up anatomy and stuff just PROVES it! I wonder if they're in HD? That'd be flipping awesome; MLPTfan would be so pleased. Also, am I the only one who sees this resemblance?   Everything right down to Lancer and Patch's hind hooves are identical... DOES THIS MEAN WHAT NOTES AUTOMATICALLY THINKS IT MEANS?! Now I can effectively NOT WAIT until April! |

Oh, heck no. They're torturing us until May, and HAVE tortured the fans for twenty two years... there is no guilt at all here!
Really, though, I bet there are all kinds of things this will pull up that we haven't even considered yet. We had this whole thing foreshadowed by the removal of the episodes from YouTube (the only site Hasbro seems to shark for copyright). I doubt it, but what if Hasbro slams the copyright hammer onto us?
And, you know, I THINK I saw a toy of Dazzle (you know, PTV presenter) at the Walmart once, in the G4 style! Do you think we'll get some more toys? What's happened with the G1 release and the G3 release; has anything additional happened we should know about in caution, or hopefully so we have more to look forward to?

Myself, I'm still putting my (microscopic) hopes that the MLP movie is a Multi Gen Crossover of some sort at some point.

I'm excited by to finally get myself a good clean copy of the show, but man that cover art leaves me a little wanting.
No BE or Melody? SH's symbol incorrect? The size difference between Patch and BB's symbols? Art looks super amateur. Just makes me wonder exactly who is producing this and whether or not Hasbro is actually involved.

bobdude Well, now that we know Hasbro owns the copyrights, BD... anything could happen. Kat his actually lines up with Hasbro's marketing strategy, it seems. The Tales episodes were removed from YouTube last year. The Hasbro YouTube channel is showing G3 videos. They also released the full DVD of the sixty five episodes of My Little Pony G1. Shout! Factory, the guys with this one, release MLP G4 DVDs, the aforementioned G1 DVD, and now this one. The G1 one was specifically in collaboration with Hasbro. Shout! could not have released the video unless Sunbow (who animated it but didn't own it) or Hasbro gave them permission to do so. Sunbow even went out of business in 2003, if Wikipedia is to be trusted. Who else could own the copyright? Hasbro has the My Little Pony name copyrighted, so it cannot be Disney. And, facing facts, Hasbro is amateur. The merchandise itself isn't the same quality as it was in the 90s or even at G3's time. That pink pony (Pinkie Pie) appears in the same pose, recolored to be a rainbow pony, six times in that one brief post, AND all of those vectors have been seen before. So I think we have solid evidence to believe that Hasbro HASN'T forgotten about the best thing they ever paid someone to have produced!
