As a follow-up to my topic on Starlight, I've created a topic about Melody's character. She seems to be a musician who can be overly proud of herself at times. Any other thoughts on Melody's development?

She also has a heart of gold, which comes out the most when she's doing what she loves (making music). But that was pretty obvious. I also have her set up with quite the temper in my universe, though she exhibited signs of this in The Play's the Thing and Stand By Me, especially the latter.
In my universe, basically, every guy wants her, every girl wants to be her. But going into more detail, Melody is just particularly popular amongst the guys who are interested in dating, and the jealous and/or insecure girls admire her.

Unfortunately though, she tends to side against Teddy whenever the others feel Teddy is guilty of something (ie Standby Me).

^ Completely valid accusation that Melody had that episode, though.
'Course, I am NOT a huge fan of Teddy AT ALL, and I happen to be fond of Mel, but Teddy really put Melody behind a lot of CRUD, even through Sweetheart. I am, of course, thinking of Happy Birthday Sweetheart. -_- And Mel, before her new toy was stolen, was pretty cool with Teddy, really, despite his stealing it in attempt to fix it (and even when it was broken).
