One of the more 'cringeworthy' episodes of the series, although no Tales episode is TRULY bad. The most confusing thing about this episode, though, was that do the other 2 boys and Sweetheart's friends know that Teddy really DOES have a teddy bear inside, but do they just pretend not to as so to not hurt his feelings? Answers?

Definitely cringeworthy as an episode. But again, there were a few of those for me, though the good outweigh the bad colossally.
I'd have to say that the confusing thing about the episode was how all of the characters were out-of-character. While Lancer was obvious, everyone with a major role acted differently than they usually would, with (!!!) Sweetheart (!!!) and Ace standing out. The only one who really escaped flanderization was Clover, and, depending on your interpretation, Patch. Even Miss Hackney, because she would never misspell a word.*
But I never thought of it that way! We know Sweetheart and her friends know all about it, but I imagine Ace and Lancer know as well, after all of that happened.
