Totally, but Lancer isn't the only source. I had to take the probabilities from the Ponyland pony population and put them on a piece of paper, calculate probabilities based on those particular qualities, and then apply those probabilities to Lancer while keeping everything accurate AND aesthetically pleasing. Talk about fancy mathematics! (Plus I had to, you know, GUESS for the genotypes with hardly any ground.)
But I think I'm on the psychoanalysis. I'll revise it later.

Alright, I remembered this for all of this time. I deserve a cookie, wouldn't you all so kindly agree?
I think I'll keep the fancy mathematics out of this, but I shall share my interpretations of Lancer's parents. Later I'll put them in a story, promise!
You ready?
Stripes is Lancer's dad. He's white with a red mane, and he has red eyes. His symbol is two red stripes and a white five-point star. You guessed it: he's a diplomat from Pony-America, which may or may not get a name change. Anywho, he hardly has anything to do with his son as he represents his place of origin. He never even writes in his haste to make things right after the Cold War, which just ended. When he does come home (which is very rarely) he hardly does anything but talk about his various exploits in other countries. He is very self-centered, you see. He is also very outspoken. That said, he is very loyal to his causes.
Picture Perfect is Lancer's mom. I'll probably change her name to something slightly less cliched in the future. Anyway, she is dark blue with a purple mane, and blue eyes. She has a tripod camera for a symbol. If you haven't guessed it by now, she works for National Geographic as a journalist and a photographer. She's very determined, bordering on rash at times, though she is very resourceful. Unlike Stripes, she keeps in contact with her son through letters, and keeps contact with her husband as well. She also makes it a point to visit home every holiday.
The reason they are so rich is because, before Picture Perfect was part of Net Geo, she was in education, and she formed a major university in the north Pony Isles. Before that she in the stock market, and had great judgment there.
