It happens eventually, two of the characters fall in love, get married and have kids. Now, who would you pair and what kids do you think they would have? Here's one of mine.
Lancer and Bright Eyes: Mythic Page has her father's mane with an orange streak and eyes along with her mother's fur. Her cutie mark (that's what I'm calling it) is that of a book with a pen on top of it. She loves to read and even write stories. Most of her inspiration comes from the journeys that Lancer and Bright Eyes take her on.
And details on the others:
Sweetheart and Teddy: White coat and orange mane, male Light blue with pink mane, female Twins
Ace and Starlight: Teen pregnancy Pink with white mane, male
Patch and Garuda (My OC) Because Patch is infertile, they adopt.

It was said fifteen days later that I finally figured out a reply. I never age up the kids because it depresses me so to think about them as anything but little kids. I mean, for example, Patch. In the show she's a lovable, tomboyish little scamp with a fondness for practical jokes and adventure with a distinct eccentric streak who should have totally admitted her undying passion for *yellow pone*. Time skip ten years and she's a more mature, less adorable pony who might OUTGROW her epic tomboyishness or get in trouble because she trespassed on Sweetheart's property while pranking her and ends up in an asylum because society thinks she's insane because she's just a bit strange but she's NOT! Patch is NOT insane, she's epic I tell you, EPIC!
Double asterisk signifies so much jokingness that I chickled. It's a cross between chuckling and giggling. Don't question it.
But in all honesty, it requires the use of the good Punnet square to figure out appearances. And as for what ends up occurring... 9u9 I don't know.

Can't say I ever thought of giving the Mane Seven kids, some like Sweetheart or Starlight or Bright Eyes would work in terms of personality, but the others... just can't see it myself. At least as young adults. And just because they'd become more mature doesn't mean that they'd lose what makes the mane seven the mane seven Notes. Older Patch might be more aware of when to prank/not to prank as well as aware of her boundaries, but just because she'd be a young adult doesn't mean that she'd lose any of what makes her Patch ya know? Patch at the very least strikes me as the sort of character who'll always be young at heart and willing to try new things no matter how many years go by.

Yeah, the whole post was a bit of a joke, but I just like seeing them as kids. You're right on future Patch, though I admit that I really do have a problem with aging them up in my own universe, despite not having a problem with reading about them (I normally picture them as their show age when reading such works).
Perhaps Patch IS my favorite, but I won't go on a spree of insistence like that. That'd just be silly.
