Alrighty, everyone, it has come to my attention that this forum has fallen into an extended state of inactivity. All that's really been happening for a while is StarSwirl05 and I discussing OCs and FiM, neither of which is really within the topic of this forum, however fun it is. We also seem to have a somewhat stabilized number of guests on here (twenty-six online in the past twenty four hours has been about average this past week). Our average number is still oscillating. Tales Mania is the same way, with no discussion at all since September.
I have invited several people here in the past months of this slump, but unfortunately nobody's really caught on just yet. I'll talk to a few of them as well, because I know that they were really excited to hear of the place.
In the meantime, I recommend discussing Tales on here, everyone! It's a lot of fun, and I think the fandom needs it at this point. Start new threads or respond to old ones, both are really fun. It's also a way to inspire Tales fanfic writers and artists to add more to our pool of fanstuff, and to think of your favorite little ponies in new situations and ways.
There are a bunch of Tales fanfics I've found (over fifty), but I think that the pile is overall getting stale in that department. I've been regularly writing for Tales on my FanFiction profile (PatchTheProdigy), but aside from that, we haven't had any more Tales literature to my knowledge between these past two months. We could use the inspiration, everyone.
Let's save the Tales fandom... again!

Yeah I've been meaning to finally start discussing some of the things you and I had mentioned discussing, Notes, but never quite got around to it. Work has been too busy lately, and I just never bother going on-line when I get home any more. I still constantly think about my Tales muses during my walk to and from work, though. So it's not a lack of muses, just a lack of time/desire to bother writing anything.  |

Alright, sweet. I've been very concerned by this, but it seems like you and Bob-dude have answered my call. That is GREAT to hear that it isn't a lack of interest, though, in Tales. We need more members around here, though!

Ironically, trying to take a break from the Pony fandom in genreal to work on other things. Just when I think I'm out, the Tales ponies pull me back in!

Alright, everyone. I welcome a new year to each and every one of you! It's just another rotation in a sea of rotations, but that doesn't mean we can't be optimistic about our futures, and about this year being a fresh start.
Of course, I post in this thread because I, obviously, have something to say for the Tales fandom.
I'm truly sorry I've been slacking off these past few months. Really, I am. I have been scouring the darkest corners of the internet for new Tales stuff, and haven't been taking the moment to share them with all of you. There are some truly amazing pieces of Tales art in particular that I've been finding in the darkest pools of DeviantArt, hidden behind the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic stuff that irritatingly comes up whenever you search for anything Tales-related.
I've also been working behind the scenes for a month now on something new that I'll share today at five o'clock Eastern time. It'll be something we can ALL appreciate, and that we can ALL add to.
In the meantime... I'm going to do better for Tales.

Looking forward to it Notes! Sadly I've been juggling a number of different writing projects myself (Pony stuff, sumo stuff, Ever After High stuff, pony reviews) to the point where I can't seem to sit down and get fully started on any of them. Oh well.

I have decided to revive this thread. It's a shame that a fandom so prosperous (as of last year) is now sinking into a slow death once again.
As Notes said nearly two years ago, this fandom needs some more activity, people! |
