Well it's a long ways away. I don't think she's transforming. It's probably some new threat. I wonder if this means that they'll work on the 2017 movie script? There was a tweet stating so before it got removed.

Speaking of the movie, there was a recent announcement that Hasbro and Dreamworks cut a deal, I'm wondering if they're gonna animate the MLP movie.

As it turns out, they aren't going to be together. A more recent post states they've cancelled the partnership, likely due to the reactions of them actually considering the merge.

It also appears that Disney may have played a role in why Hasbro cancelled the merge as Hasbro had already agreed to work with Disney for products.
