Well look at how she acts compared to Adiago and Aria. Plus even they don't like her that much. She seems more like someone you could hang out with as a friend.

A friend of mine explained that scientists wear glasses sometimes when they're working with glasses, so that might be why she wears them, she may not need them normally.

True but since she's the newest at being a human I would've thought putting them on would be difficult as she still writes with a pen in her mouth.

Normally, it is in reality goggles that are worn. More coverage around the eyes that way.
