So, I'm sure there will be some folks here who see this section and think, "What? Cel? " Well, here is the definition, according to wikipedia.com: A cel, short for celluloid, is a transparent sheet on which objects are drawn or painted for traditional, hand-drawn animation. Celluloid was used for animation and film production up until the late 20th century, however, it burned easily and suffered from spontaneous decomposition, and was largely replaced by cellulose acetate plastics. Basically, it's a transparent sheet that was painted on over an original sketch. When put togetehr, they make frames that smoothly move together to form an animation. Tales cels are easy to come by on eBay. They are a cheap way to own a piece of Tales history!

Hi
Yep, I got them on ebay for under 6 dollars canadian and most were in a big set for not even 10 canadian.
Thanks for moving them to one place.
I just learned something new, i didnt know that they decomposed.
Do you guys think i should frame them? i think it might be better then leaving them loose.

I think that Tales cels may have been made from cellulose acetate, but just to be safe, I'd frame them. Plus, it's a great way to show them off.

I didn't know this! Seeing original cells like this getting spread around the world is scary. But at the same time, better thant they end up with you instead of getting thrown away in some studio to never be seen again.

I feel very lucky to get them, it would be bad if someone just put them into the garbage.
I have had no luck with finding picture frames that will fit them.
