Actually in canada, my little ponies had an INSANE contest a while back. It wasn't party prizes or such, but it was G3 prizes.

Litterly you would decide which pony you liked best, and enter the contest as that pony. Then win a prize package based on said pony...

They had different packages for each of the 7... and these were not "small" prizes, or simply a party for you and your friends, type stuff.

Rainbow dash, - weekend at a beauty salon <500 dollars> and 1000 dollars in gift certificats for new wardrope

Sweetberry - 1200 dollar kitchen makeover, 250 dollars in cookbooks, and a sweetberry cheff's hat and aprin.

Scootaloo - 500 dollars for mountain explorers, for new bikes, and 1000 dollars in sports clothing.

you can tell these were not aimed at children.

sorry, but yeh, hasbro's current g3 contest is for, win a party for you and your best friends based on whcih pony party you like.

All the prizes came out around 1500 dollars, just what you got different between pony.
