It is easy!

All you need to do is get a torrent program. I recommend uTorrent (http://utorrent.com/download.php) as it is free from spywares and viruses.

I have created a torrent that will be up for some time (as long as it needs to be up, and it is shared with unlimited upload speed, about 1 Mbit/s max). Download it here, and load it into your torrent program to start seed:

Remember, this is all English episodes in the highest possible quality! Since the DVDs are no longer in production, and they only let 5% of the world enjoy them, I think this is fair to us to share it among eachother!


Now the more who downloads at the same time, the faster it will download! So don't be shy!

In case you feel the torrent or the server is down, you can test to see if it is active by going to this address 213.65.69.178:44483/gui/ and use "guest" as the user name. There you see the status of the torrent from the server side.

Not only that, you just proved it works to download from the server! Thanks ^__^;;

I usually put one episode on high priority, so it will download quicker, so I have something to watch when the others are still downloading.

And no rush! Only a power failure can stop this server from uploading this torrent. I will keep it online for 2-3 weeks ^^

It is important for me to share this as you all deserve them the most! ^^

Each episode is about 600 MB. There are 26 episodes. 13.5 GB. About 4 DVDs in size, just like it should be
(4 DVDs are 4.7 GB * 4 = 18.8 GB)

Only that these are progressive scan which is better than DVDs because DVDs are interlaced. Better for uploading to youtube, and cleared frames when watching on a computer.

I don't think you will get anywhere without a broadband connection with 512 kbps down speed. Even with broadband it takes days.

Seeding means that you are uploading as well as downloading (that is done automatically as it is the ways torrents work). So when you are downloading parts of the episodes from someone else who is seeding, you are uploading some of your parts of your already downloaded episodes to someone else as well. It makes people access episodes faster because people get different parts of the episodes, and share them with eachother, instead of everyone trying to download the same thing from one guy (that is me).

However, torrents are very randomly downloaded, so you might not get any full playable episode until you have downloaded 100% of the torrent. That's the sad part about torrents.

And it takes days to download when there is only some people seeding.
An example is, when there are 5 people seeding but none of them have 100% because the guy who had 100% left (he/she was happy to download 100% all for himself/herself, and destroyed for the rest). So seeinging is important, even after you have downloaded all the episodes, to keep the torrent healthy.

Ohhhhh....so how do you keep seeding once you've finished your download? You just keep the torrent box thingie (I am VERY technical, lol) open on your computer? (I am not finished yet obviously, just asking. I'm at 1.4% at the moment, woo!)

I have another question (you know you love it when I ask technical questions, lol)! If I turn my computer off, or get disconnected (which happens often and very randomly here), will I be able to contintue the download where it left off? If so, how do I do that? Just open the torrent program again and it'll be there waiting for me?

Oh see, as I was trying to post that, I got disconnected again. So my question has kinda been answered, lol. My ETA went from 5 days to INFINITY! That was hilarious! XD

LOL, you keep the thingie open for a few more hours when you have reached 100%, or as long as you like.
And about the rest, closing the torrent program and starting it up again later will not restart the download. It will continue from where it left off, but it will take a while for it to calculate stuff like who seeds what and how long it will take until the download is done (ETA).

Anything for my friends ^___^

It is so important for me to share this show in the best possible quality (same resolution as the PAL DVD, but instead of 50 frames interlaced, having 25 frames progressive instead). I went through a lot of trouble just getting all of them since I can't show/tell any people in my RL I am into MLPT.
I was hoping someone else could have done it instead, but months went by and I looked for torrents. Then I realized there were only me, or some Australian person who could do this. And 2004 was the relase date so I couldn't sit and just wait. I got the last DVDs, by luck.

Sharing only with the people I know are into MLPT helps. Else I think I would have printed something, a watermark or something. But for you guys, you'll get 100% Tales ^^;

LOL, I have seen Bright Glow at 50% today. I will make sure you all get 100% before I disconnect the server. Feel free to report your status when you have downloaded all episodes safely ^^
