Yeah, but one Sweetheart could face. Pokemon can be just mashing the FIGHT button and attacking the gyms, or it could be mathematics and strategy. Depends on the player, yanno? Of course but Sweetheart would have to learn how to duel first.

Hm... I heard Patch is a quick on-the-job learner.

Hm... I heard Patch is a quick on-the-job learner. Plus the idea of dueling might seem like her kind of adventure.

Heck yeah! I heartily approve of this sentiment because kids who play card games are 'weird,' and it fits her character to want to fight with huge monsters and effects.

For some reason, I see Teddy mocking the game.

Of course he'd mock the game, thinking it was for nerds. But eventually he'd end up giving it a shot, and assembles a deck, claiming he was just schooling fools, but he'd really enjoy it on the inside.

Their duel disks would probably be as follows: Melody: Guitar-shaped. Each zone would play a different note when a card was played in that zone Sweetheart: Heart-shaped card zones that unloads like an accordion Bon Bon: Candy bar-shaped Starlight: Chalkboard-shaped with the card zones outlined in chalk Bright Eyes: Duel disk made from recycled parts Ace: Baseball bat-shaped Duel Disk with soccerball-colored card zones Lancer: Sword-shaped duel disk with shield-shaped card zones Teddy: fur-covered with pictures of Sweetheart as the card zones Clover: Slot-machine-shaped Duel Disk (at least the slots, not the whole machine) with a different number in each card zone Patch: Duel Disk where things pop out as a joke

Coolio! A lot more creative than if I had to dream it up. I'd just say their flank symbols were on it. I doubt Teddy would have pictures of Sweetheart on his duel disk, just because it'd be embarrassing if someone saw him, you know? But I can't think of an alternative, so...

TBH, Teddy was hard. All I came up with is the idea above or going full teddy bear-themed.

Yeah, neither would have fit his character. Maybe something to do with combs, because he had a comb symbol.

Perhaps the card zones would be combs?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Then the thing itself might be sunglasses, or maybe it'd just be colored like he is. He's the type of pony who'd want his colors emblazoned on everything of his, after all. In my opinion, anyway.

Although Ms Hackney would likely never participate, I could see her Duel Disk being notebook paper themed
