I use it to emphasize stuff too, but normally I find my posts have enough emphasis without the boldface print. Occasionally I use itallics, though.

I've always thought about whether the chicken or the egg came first, and Pinkie Pie was right. The chicken would have somehow come first, because the egg couldn't make more eggs. And indeed, there is the alphabet to worry about.
