ALL g3 manes are the same, you can see a row of ponies, if you take the colors out they all have the same manes..... Never lied that.
But clover and serendipty have different personalities... and I think clover is "luckier" but has less control over it. Though Serendipity acutally meens "coincidental luck", litterly, fortune will always be with you, need to cross a river, you'll find a boat, need to get out of a jail cell, well the door wasn't closed properly... ect...
where as Clovers luck is, high luck, while clumsy if she tries for something random she will always win. If she throws something, it will just happen to go where its supposed to... after a few bounces.

Honestly, teddy comes across as an atypical 10 year old boy... He's unsure of how to deal with girls so does things to get attention.... He simply tries to show off and hasn't figured out really how to... act... around them... With just lancer and ace around, he's pretty nice and normal... He's loyal hes trusting, but he gets angery with himself and lashes out on innamiate objects if things go wrong.
alot of what he does is putting up an act, a fake mask, to hide who he really is as well... Hes scared that the other boys will think hes a wimp or such, if they findout what he's really like.

I don't know about rule 3... There are "bad things" that can be said, without belittling the entire series... such as saying brighteyes should not be allowed to sing solo.

*giggles* yeh, Wizards of the coast had a "april fools joke" that they were going to reliese a d20 my little ponies. Though for fun, years ago, I added in my little ponies into a Gurps campain, using the "tales series" ponies as my set up. They were an ancilery race, for the game, "created/altered" life forms for slave usage, who freed themselves. Gurps actually has rules for pretty much everything about them, ranging from partially bipedal, meaning they ran on all 4s with movement bonus, or walked on 2 legs with movement penalty.
Even justified the "flank marks" using the idea that they orgionaly started as a human brand, but became a cultural tatoo, since humans often could not tell or remember their names.
For a while, I played a pooka fae in whitewolf changely, that "thought" she was patch, she had lead such a horid life, such a bad child hood that hte only thing she could do was to escape into my little ponies. She even had chimira companions of melodey and brighteyes.

The tales series, was earth ponies only, no one belived in true magic, there was no instant mane regrowth, no magical ponies that were "known" to the world, the mainland and islands were collonized, apprently centuries ago, and they overcame the lack of magic with tech.
worlds appart, by lunacat is a nice series that stays pretty true to the series, except for the fact that, patch seemed to have forgotten about brightglow and the other "magical glowing ponies". when she ran into lunastar.

Hi there, one of the new users here, was just forwarded from youtube. I'm a big pony fan, well anthropomorphics in general, but pony tales has always had a special place in my heart.
I've watched all of the series, g1, g2, g3... hate the g3 art love the songs there though... but my fav is always the tales series.
Its one series I wish they continued on or restarted, because it gave the ponies culture, history, and such, making it in meny ways more real. It wasn't a case of having a magical castle but no one who actually did any building or knew how to build... It was a functioning society.

Well we know patch is an orphen, and doesn't know who her real familly is at all <as is implied by the whole princess issue>. We know the winged unicorn brightglow is protecting her, saying she has to stay safe because she's important. And that she can see/deal with ghosts.
So yeh, there is something about her, its just never covered in the series. Her and clover are the two most "magically orientated" of the tales series. Yes I include clover because of her supernatural luck.

Hmm, if only I had my gurps source books still, gurps system is perfect for a my little pony game.
