Thank you ^^ EDIT: Yea, Teddy you once asked what "vector art" was at the Arean. This picture was made from vector art. (Going technical) So what is the benefits of drawing in vector graphics? Since you already know vector art is done by shapes you know it is not easy to work with. But it is only half the truth. Vector has to do with math more than it has to do with graphics. The better you are at math, the nicer the art gets in the end. Normal drawings are raster art, made of pixels. The cleanest drawing you can do is called sprite art, where you put single pixels instead of draw lines using the mouse. Freehand art will never become perfect. So imagine I has pixeled sprite art of Melody, it would look like this (lol, this is cheating and I'm going to explain why): You can't freehand this because each pixel must not share a staircase neighbour, which basically makes the black lines thicker then they are supposed to be. In order to do this, you must clean up every pixel. It takes a cupple of hours to do this. Which is exactly the same thing with vector graphics, it takes a cupple of hours to make, BUT then you can do all kinds of things with the art that you can't do with a raster image. Scaling the sprite art down, even 1% will corrupt it (so you lose hours having to recreate it): Scaling up the sprite art will corrupt it, making it look all blocky (and here you'll lose more than hours): With vector graphics, you can scale the image in any size, no restrictions and you just need to press a button. Also you can create sprite art in any size with the same button press (as i did above with Melody). So you'll get a dynamic picture that is redrawn for you in the way you want it whenever you want it! Of course you use math to build the image, but instead of using constants like: 1 + 1 = 2, you have a variable that you set to any number to produce a different result: X + X = ?. So if I say I want the image to be 3, I set X to be 1.5 and it results in: 1.5 - 1.5 = 3. Now, I don't need to use math at all when it comes to Tales art, which makes it a little easier. Adobe illustrator takes automatically care of that. So in the end, the winning way of drawing any kind of images or drawings is through vector graphics. Also isn't those thick symmetrical black lines that only math can produce good? *shot*

I totally understand the problems with pixel art (have dealt with that for years), so I see how vector art is so much better. I still don't really understand how it's made exactly, but your little talk there helped a little bit. I love it when you go technical like that! lol!

You hate me when I go technical XD And I hate myself for doing it. Pixel art is just easier because you don't have to think about shapes and layers. It can get pretty messy when you have like 100 shapes and accidentally move one shape out of place.

It would have been completely empty if you hadn't been there. Friendship! Also I know how much Melody means to you, especially in this outfit, and I had already started drawing it, do it was dedicated to you! ^^
